Free Duo

Description

This musical duo is formed by singer Mila Pulita and guitarrist Gabriel Jacobs. The two met in 2012 when Mila was invited to join the Radio Brasil Band of which Gabriel was already a part, specializing in cruise ship animation. With the passage of time, there arose a musical tune that grew and thus the idea to work more focused on Jazz , Bossa Nova and lounge music.
After some time, there, there was a development in this work, adding dance music in several languages, international pop and latin music in general. Always with a excellent live performances, the duo decide to add quality backi ... ng tracks in some presentations like a plus that the duo offers at parties and events that need a more animated and dancing repertoire. *
The duo's experience develops through the diversity of the ship's audience. The travel itineraries includes a public of the USA, Africa, Asia, much of Europe. Currently residing in Rome, Free Duo work for hotels, events in various locations in Europe, but most for luxury cruises.
The duo has the experience and the repertoire for most diverse types of audiences. Free Duo is great for any kind of events, both sophisticated in a acoustic mood for a piano bar or/and lively rhythm on dance floors.

Biography

MILA PULITA
Of Brazilian nationality, born in Rio de Janeiro, was raised in Porto Alegre, in south of Brazil. She learn to play guitar as a child through the influence of his father, also a musician. In adolescence she participated in a recognized choir of her city where she learn and developed her vocal technique.
Founded some rock bands and worked in others band of blues, dance bands and Brazilian Popular Music (MPB). Like a diversified singer has several participations in music recordings of various independent artists of her city.
She herself has a work of her own compositions with a si ... ngular and unique style, a mixture of blues and bossa nova. Because this, in 2000 she decided traveled and presented in hotels, clubs and pubs across the country.

Back in town (Porto Alegre), in 2008, she joined a rock musical from the 60s and 70s, Grease style, where in addition to singing, she danced and performed. At same time, she became a singer of the city's biggest nightclub, where she sang all kinds of dance music.
Soon after, the invitation to embark with a cruise band, further expanding the eclectic repertoire and knowledge of music in several languages. Currently lives in Rome (since 2012) and has double citizenship.


Owner of a voice that can sing both softly and energetically, it is now a singer of this diversified and experienced duo.
GABRIEL JACOBS
Born In Porto Alegre, Brazil he moved to Italy with his family with only two years of age, where does he lives to the present days. With his father a musician and her mother a lover of culture, music and arts, he always had the presence of musicians and artists at home since childhood. So he started at eight playing drums, but at twelve he developed a great love for the guitar, where he found his true vocation.


He furthered his studies at Percento Musica in Rome, where graduated as a musician. There he studied with great teachers like Umberto Fiorentino, Fabio Zeppetella, Stefano Micarelli, Dario Lapenna, Stefano Mastruzzi and Cristiano Mastroianni. After that he deepened his studies at Saint Louis College of Music.


At the age of 18, Gabriel began his professional career, playing with musicians such as Eddy Palermo, Lisa Maroni and Brazilian drummer Cesar Audi from the well-known Brazilian jazz fusion Raiz de Pedra when visiting Italy.
Participates in various festivals like Di Spoleto, Pistoia e Grosseto, and many others.

In 2010, he participated of the band in a program on Mediaset Television, in the program IO CANTO (I sing) and also in some radio programs of Rai.

Soon after, he began working with the Radio Brasil Band in Brazilians music clubs in Rome. Thus was born the luxury cruises band and then later the Free Duo. Read More
