Description

Young, classy female cocktail pianist, and piano-vocalist, with an extensive repertoire of jazz standards, pop, musical theatre, ballads, rock and country. Experienced in playing focal and background music for livery events, birthdays, weddings, hotels, care homes, functions and theatre.
Highly experienced reed player (saxophone, clarinet and flute) for theatre, gigging and recording. Theatres performed at include the Savoy, Shaftesbury and Adelphi Theatres, London, Barbican, Southwark Playhouse, The Other Palace, Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, Soho Theatre and two UK tours.

Biography

I studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, followed by Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I am a reed doubler (saxophones, clarinets, flute and piccolo), and an experienced pianist and vocalist.
I have performed in pit orchestras, on-stage bands and as an actor-musician for numerous London, regional and touring productions, including at the Shaftesbury, Savoy and Adelphi Theatres, Sane and Sound (Arcola), Max & Ivan: Commitment and Dracula! Mr Swallow: The Musical (Soho Theatre), Assassins (Pleasance, London), Some Lovers (The Other Palace), Oliver! (Aylesbury Waterside Theatre), ... Belshazzar’s Feast and Beethoven Symphony No. 9 (Barbican Centre), and the off-West End revival of London Road, alongside the national tour of an improvised musical. I am also a proficient and experienced gigging and studio musician; I regularly play for functions, events and in hotels as a reed player as part of a band, cocktail pianist, piano-vocalist, backing singer and solo instrumentalist.
I am very accustomed to performing in full costume, hair and make-up – both as an on-stage musician, and as an actor – and I am familiar and comfortable with very high-levels of grooming and stage presence, and long days due to my work in function bands, and as a stage performer.
I love performing; it truly is where I am happiest, most experienced, and I find it the most rewarding aspect of my career. My work so far has led me to meet wonderful people, entertain, and play brilliant repertoire.
