Our shows create an atmosphere of excitement, while maintaining the illusion of danger through hypnotic visual and stylistic elements that we have borrowed from ancient traditions. Fire Circus is a talented dynamic duo of fire manipulators, dancers, and jugglers who are seasoned performer.s We specialize in entertaining and captivating audiences of all ages, from 1 to 101, we have been performing professionally for over 5 years and have an expanding arsenal of unique talents that WILL mesmerize ... you with or without fire! Our fire show includes props such as: Fire poi with 2 and 3 poi, Fire hula hooping with up to 4 fire hula hoops, Fire hula hoop juggling, Fire club juggling, Fire club passing, Fire fans, Fire eating, Fire breathing, Fire bull whip, Fire rope dart, fire staff, fire double staffs, and Fire acrobatic yoga. For venues that do not allow fire we offer LED performances with up to 3 LED poi, up to 5 LED hula hoops, LED hoop juggling, and LED ball juggling. We also specialize in daytime entertainment and offer performances with up to 3 day poi, manipulating up to 6 hula hoops at a time, hula hoop juggling with 3 and 4 hula hoops, ball and club juggling, partner pass juggling, and acrobatic yoga performances.

Biography

Monica Losanto
Artist, Innovator, Hula Hooper, Acrobat, Yogini, Teacher, Juggler, Fire Dancer.
Monica is an inspiring force in her community and in everything she puts her mind to. She has excelled as a teacher of languages, yoga, and flow arts. As a bilingual first generation American she has found a comfort in traveling the world and sharing her love for knowledge, art, yoga, juggling and hula hooping. She is a trained yoga teacher and has taught kids and adults to push themselves to learning new things about movement meditation (flow arts) as an art and exercise practice. Monica first ... picked up a hoop in 2011 and began performing and teaching over 6 years ago and has since been inspired, influenced, and taught by flow artists, yoga teachers and circus performers from around the world. Having performed at hundreds of venues and at many types of events she is a well-seasoned entertainer and prepared to take on anything from a street shows to a stage to an auditorium.
She has toured the country in her beloved van with her partner and performed at many festivals, events and parties as the duo “Fire Circus”. Including Burning Man, vineyards in California, resorts on the east coast, bars ,clubs, banquets, music venues ,etc. She has specialized in turning flow arts into theatrical performance, and leaving a lasting impression on people with her inspiring teaching methods.
Connor O'Rourke
Artist, Juggler, Entertainer, Speaker, Teacher, entrepreneur, fire wizard and an inspiration to all
Connor began his journey as a stage technician (with a love for poi) at a local dinner theater show, watching jugglers and acrobats work every day eventually inspired him to pick up juggling and learn the art of fire dance. Connor began entertaining in 2011 and soon quit his job as a stage tech and started the performance troupe Fire Circus with his partner (Monica). That first year they both quit their day jobs and put all of their energy into turning their art into business. Success came quickly that year and they were soon booked 6 days a week in the summer. He has trained and worked with record holding numbers jugglers and world renowned fire performers. Having grown up in Myrtle Beach SC (a town fueled by tourism) he had the advantage of knowing how to hold the interest of a crowd.
Connor is known to juggle or spin anything he can get his hands on and loves to teach and share what he has learned and knows. As lover of flow arts, he can be found spinning 2, 3 and 4 poi, juggling fire, hula hooping / hoop juggling, manipulating a rope dart, cracking his flaming bull whip, and doing acroyoga on fire. He has entertained at auditoriums, stadiums, music venues and on the street corner from coast to coast, and abroad. Major accomplishments include community building in his hometown, teaching kids to juggle, traveling the country and performing at burning man, vineyards of California, music venues and festivals across the US. His mission is to share the flow arts and movement arts with the world and bring more artist and perfromers together as a positive way to build community and grow the appreciation for this wonderful art form.

Previous Clients

We have performed for many diverse clients ranging from children's birthday parties to churches and even vineyards. Some festivals we have performed at include Burning man in Nevada, Earthdance festival in Florida, and Unscruz in Santa Cruz, California.

FIRE SAFETY
Professionalism and a strict safety protocol allow us to create the illusion of danger without sacrificing the well being of the audience or the venue!
We encourage and abide by the NAFAA (North American Fire Arts Association's) Safety Guidelines. When necessary we even provide the client with a certificate of insurance bearing the client's name/company
we are able to secure permits for Fire Performances in your area. We have experience dealing with local fire laws and fire marshals.
An extensive safety protocol is in place when dealing with our fuels and fire props… all ... of our props are inspected and tested for saftey before each performance. We always have a fire extinguisher and a fire safety as a spotter and first responder.
We are Licenced and insured with a $3 Million Comprehensive liability plan from NAFAA.
