Biography

My name is Emily and I am a positive, uplifting, playful and persuasive British RP voice artist and jingle singer. After studying with prestigious drama academy LAMDA, I went on to spend my early career in the theatre and television before moving into the voiceover industry full time 10 years ago.
During this time, I have been the warm, gentle voice on children's toys, the trustworthy and inspiring voice in corporate explainers, and the bright, inviting and playful artist on TV, radio and online commercials.
I've recorded almost 100,000 words for education clients, voiced many on- hold phone ... prompts and I'm currently one of the worldwide speaking and singing voices for Barbie commercials. Over the past decade I have recorded many thousands of minutes of e-learning courses, commercials, explainer videos, dictionaries, TTS, phone systems, animations & cartoons, ADR, IVR, and medical voiceovers. I trained as an actor with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and prior to voiceovers, I spent years in theatre, film and television.

Hey all!
My name is Emily, and when I am not in my booth or on location, I am usually cuddling my 3 degus Pepper, Cashew and Pecan. Nobody knows what degus are so I tell everyone they are fat Gerbils :D I have a TV broadcast quality recording booth and editing suite in my home in the garden of England, Kent, and this is where I do most of my voiceovers! When we are allowed to again, I will be out gigging with my functions band all around the UK!
