Paul has been a professional Elvis impersonator since appearing on Stars in Their Eyes in 1993. His show is available with an 8 piece band, with dancers, backing vocalists or solo with backing tracks.
Fully self-contained including sound system, lighting, backdrop and projector, all covered with public liability insurance and PAT tested equipment. . A disco can be provided at a small additional cost.
Paul can offer themed Elvis extras to suit your plans - be it Vegas with showgirls and fun casino, or Hawaii with hula girls and palm trees! He also performs blessings and ceremonies as Elv ... is, so whatever you're wanting for your event get in touch and see what can be offered.
If Paul can't do your event, he can always record and send a request and a song for friends, your spouse or your family for a small fee.

Biography

Previously based in Gran Canaria, Spain, Paul successfully toured with the TCB band, and more recently toured the USA, Norway, India, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, China and Malaysia. His Middle East tour included shows in Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain, Doha, Muscat, Egypt and Lebanon. Paul is currently touring & based in the UK.
Paul has an extensive list of corporate clients and performs at many high profile Charity events that help raise money for the NSPCC, Children in Need, MS, Prostate Cancer, Africa Appeal, MacMillan and Help for Heroes.
Appearing with such greats as Howard K ... eel, John Miles, Steve Cropper and Russell Watson, Paul can also add Eammon Holmes (TV Presenter), Vicky Michelle (Actress), Willie Morgan (former Manchester United Captain) and Frank Worthington (professional footballer) to his celebrity fan club.
Paul Francis Thorpe was born in London, England in 1968 and was a natural entertainer from an early age. At 15 Paul was already in demand as a singer and impressionist. He turned professional at the age of 21 and has never looked back.
He has over 1200 Elvis songs in his repertoire plus 200 songs from other famous singers, and has performed over a staggering 11,000 television, stage and theatre shows in his 25 year career.
In his adopted home of Spain Paul is a big star and appears at all the major four & five star hotels, and cabaret venues for leading UK and European tour groups including Thomson, Reisen and Tui. He appears regularly on Spanish TV but was no newcomer to television - Paul appeared on ITV’s “The Time and Place” in 1993 & also “Stars In Their Eyes” that same year, and then again in 1997 when he went on to appear in the only live Elvis tribute show, after beating over 10,000 other contenders to win his place in this prestigious final.

2001 was an amazing year for Paul. He was selected from thousands of applicants to appear live on GMTV’s program “Who is King?” 5 times in one week! Paul polled an impressive 25% of the total vote from an audience of over 10 million.In May of 2004 Paul was the backbone of Granada TV’s "Taxi Nights" which was filmed on location at popular venues in Manchester.Paul appeared on the opening night of the BBC TV’s programme “Running Late”, which covered the XXIII Commonwealth Games.
The Howard Keel NSPCC Golf Classic/Celebrity Cabaret 2004 saw Paul performed with Don Felder (The Eagles) and John Miles (writer of “Music was my first love”). He appeared for Renee Zellweger and Hugh Grant at the “Bridget Jones Diaries” wrap party, and at Denise Welch and Tim Healy’s Annual Charity Christmas Ball, Manchester United Football Club's Celebrity/Charity Music Event, the Cinema & Television Ball, and numerous high profile registered Charity performances, Paul’s continued support is greatly appreciated.
Paul has recorded & produced 14 albums of Elvis songs, and is currently in the studio working on a new album to be released August 16th 2017. A live dvd of Paul with his full band on the current theater tour will be released early spring.
On a recent visit to the USA Paul - who performed to sell out audiences in Las Vegas, was gobsmacked when on a visit to Graceland was actually mobbed in the street by Elvis Presley fans asking for his autograph & insisting on having their photograph taken with him.
