Description

I am an aerial illusionist. I created the first ever duo aerial quick change act on Spanish web. It is a dynamic act of aerial, dance and acrobatics with a fantastical conclusion. Please check out my website http://elenabrocade.com

Biography

I live in Los Angeles but work globally as a professional circus performer and choreographer. In 2002 I became part of the American circus community training in a broad range of aerial acrobatics. I developed and refined my skills with Shayna Swanson (Aloft Circus Arts), Elsie Smith (Gemini Twins), Nourbol Miermanov (MSA Circus Arts) and Helene Turcotte (Duo Mouvance, SF Circus Center). And most recently I apprenticed under Jonathan Pendragon in illusion magic.
As an aerialist and illusionist, my credits range from The Magic Castle. Chicago Contemporary Circus Festival, Zoppe Family Circus ... , Master's of Illusion CW, and part of Hong Kong’s 2008 Olympic festivities. My duo lyra act is featured in the Paul Weitz film, Cirque du Freak, 2008. And in 2009 I played a role in the film Public Enemies, directed by Michael Mann. Additionally, under the instruction of Omar Chinibekov, I trained in Cossack trick riding and road with the Riders of the Ring as the headlining act in Circus Flora’s 2012 season.
