Description

As an experienced and versatile violinist, I am able to provide a bespoke performance for any special occasion whether it be a wedding, corporate event or party. I have an extensive repertoire covering a wide range of genres, including pop, classical, film, TV and musical theatre. I am also happy to take requests prior to your event. All songs are available with backing track and I have my own portable speaker system which is fully PAT tested and certified. I also have my own public liability insurance.

Biography

Born in Hampshire, Eleanor began playing the violin aged 6 and went on to successfully audition for a place on the Hampshire Specialist Music Course where she studied with Daniel Bhattacharya. After graduating from The University of Nottingham in 2016 with a first class honours degree in Music, Eleanor held a teaching position at Oakham School in Rutland where she taught academic music as well as assisted in the running of many of the school's musical ensembles. She is now currently based in Manchester after completing her Masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music with Pavel Fische ... r.

A keen orchestral musician, Eleanor has been privileged to work with internationally acclaimed conductors and artists, a highlight being leading a performance of the Saint-Saëns cello concerto with esteemed soloist, Natalie CleinFollowing a successful audition, Eleanor was recently awarded a place to play in a side-by-side concert with The Hallé under the baton of Sir Mark Elder. In March 2018, she was invited to work with Markus Stenz on an exciting project with the Paris Conservatoire commemorating 100 years since the end of World War I, which culminated in performances at the RNCM in Manchester, Cadogan Hall in London and the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique in Paris.

Eleanor also has an interest in musical theatre and regularly plays for shows. In 2017, she began playing with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra with whom she has performed in Bernstein’s Candide at Cadogan Hall as well as Mack & Mabel and King at the Hackney Empire Theatre. Other highlights have included The Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon.
