Duo Erick and Christa

Description

Our aerial tissue act is performed with two aerial hammocks. It is approximately six and a half minutes in length. Our hand to hand number is also approximately six mins in length. Christa's solo lyra act is on skates and is five mins. Erick's solo strap act is four and a half mins in length. Our acrobatic bike and skating act is approximately 5 mins and is performed to Human by rag n bone man. Christa's Cyr wheel act is 5 mins and performed to Black Violin's A flat.

Biography

I am a professional ice skater turned aerialist. I work with my partner Erick Santos who is a professional gymnast and acrobat. We came together to develop several different acts. First we created a hand to hand act unique to us as we take turns porting. Then we created an aerial tissue act with duo hammocks. We have been working together for more than 8 years and each have over 10 years experience performing. Christa also has a degree in engineering physics and society from McMaster University.
