I perform as a freelance based keyboardist/ pianist for various acts around Johannesburg South Africa. I am skilled in various styles of music ranging from Jazz, pop and rock only to mention a few.

Biography

André Behnke is a freelance pianist form Johannesburg. He started playing piano from the age of 7 and focused on classical music during his school career. He performed as a soloist for 2 years with the Johannesburg Symphonic orchestra and was invited to start playing as a solo pianist at weddings and parties.
After matriculating in 1998 he pursued his studies in Jazz piano where he obtained his B.tech degree in Piano performance at the former Technikon Pretoria. From 2003 Andre became very active in the South African music scene as performer and session musician. He worked on many albums, j ... ingles and soundtracks for various artists.
André is also the keyboardist for the Sama nominated artists Gang of Instrumentals and Mean Mr Mustard. André performed for numerous functions and corporate events especially during the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
