Meet the Act

He was born Thamsanqa Sanele Gina and bred in Kwa-Zulu Natal at Kwamandlakazi rural area under Ndwedwe Local Municipality. The artist started doing music in 2002 as a backing vocalist for his late brother’s Reggae band, The Crocodiles. In 2014 he got into Maskandi Traditional Music forming his own traditional music group. The Maskandi Traditional Music group trades under his artist name, Dlula Bem’memeze. The group consists of young boys and girls as Zulu dancers including him as a recording and performing artist group leader.
The artist group have performed on events such as SATMA Awards ... Prayer, Ndwedwe Annual Festival, Bat Centre to mention a few. They have released double single title, Uthand’izinto and Ak’laleki both available on digital music stores.

We perform using a backing track. Sing along and do zulu dance.
For this type of performance we require;
-Sound System that can insert Audio CD OR USB
-1 wireless Mic if applicable
- Space on stage that can accommodate 7 Zulu dancers

Live Band Performance

We perform live with a band and do Zulu dance along our own music.
For this type of performance we require;
-Drum Kit set
-2 Keyboards (1 must at least have transpose button)
- Bass Guitar Amp
- Guitar Amp
-4 Mics with their stands
