Biography

Always having a musical background as a drummer, James Allen Jr., (DJ 2-Smooth) looked to find another way to spread his love for music to the world that would impact others, as well as himself in a huge way.
As a native of Augusta, Georgia, DJ 2-Smooth has had the privilege of spinning for many crowds across the country. As a recent college graduate, James has held some of the most featured residencies in Las Cruces, New Mexico while attending, and graduating from New Mexico State University. James has a true love for flawlessly blending, mixing, and listening to crowd reactions as he spi ... ns at any performance.
James has a specialty in playing all types of music, and really concentrates on song selection while performing to increase crowd participation. To James, DJing is not only something that should be done just for the money, but something that comes from the heart and a passion. James strives everyday not only to be a better DJ by practicing a countless amount of hours, but to be a better overall individual in life.
DJing is something that I do not take lightly, and would love to do this for the rest of my life whether it be locally or within the big lights. I do this for the love of music, and if you are a DJ reading this bio then you should too!!
