Derek O'Hara AKA (The Cream Of Dublin)
Guitar Singer
(1 Review)Description
Strong vocals and strong acoustic Guitar skills. I play to suit the audience and have a great variety of songs to do so. I love to involve the audience and encourage the guests to join in collectively, especially the Irish sing-a-long / clap-a-long songs and I also play some Beautiful relaxing Ballads for when there is a relaxed vibe in the room! I tend to go into party mode once the time is right and always strive to have everyone dancing and happy with their nights entertainment and I am good at my job as I take it seriously and I read a crowed very well and I cover Many Genres like Pop,Rock ... , Folk, Traditional, Blues and Reggae! I also use some clean, non-offensive comedy when the moments are right.
Set-List
It Varies depending on the demands of the guests in front of me. I read the audience well and play to their taste. Requests are encouraged and if nobody has requests I stick to a wining formula of classic Folk, Rock, Pop, Reggae, Blues and of course being from Ireland I do all the Irish Pub songs which tend to work in almost every case!! Afain it just depends on the audience.
My song list is quite versitile and I suprise myself sometimes when I am asked for a song that's not on the list but I can do it anyway on the spur of the moment. I play by ear so anything goes. But a general song list
