Biography

FELIX J. DENEAU, JR., Owner of FJDJR PRODUCTIONS LLC and Professional Dean Martin Tribute Artist,. hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up with such television favorites as, “The Ed Sullivan Show”, “The Jackie Gleason Show”, and of course “The Dean Martin Show”. He collected nearly all of Dean’s albums of the Era and would practice impersonating him on his record player. After graduating high school, Felix joined the U.S. Navy, and continued to act and impersonate celebrities while off duty. On his free time from the Ship and the Navy Base, Felix would visit Las Vegas t ... o catch some celebrity shows. When he went to see Dean Martin perform at the MGM Grand on a couple separate occasions, he was able to join Dean on stage for both visits and perform his impersonation of him. Dean was pleasantly amazed with Felix’ likeness of him, and said “That’s pretty damn good, kid!” Dean’s amazement did not end there. Dean personally asked Frank Sinatra to invite Felix to see The Chairman of the Board’s show at Caesar’s Palace, and arranged for Felix to have a front row seat. On another of Felix’ visits to Vegas, he was able to connect with Jerry Lewis and Mel Torme. After active duty in the Navy, Felix went on to the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science in Communication / Theatre Arts, and participated in the Masters Program in Theatre Arts at University of Minnesota. After graduating, he auditioned for Walt Disney World where he landed a Cast Member opportunity to open its Disney-MGM Studios, bringing him to Central Florida. Among the Legendary Celebrities he interviewed while at Disney-MGM were Audrey Hepburn, George Burns, Phyllis Diller, John Davidson, Harvey Korman, Lauren Bacall, Cesar Romero, Tom Cruise, and many more. In 2009, Felix was awarded the National Best Dean Martin Tribute Artist by Deana Martin, Dean Martin’s talented daughter, and is endorsed by The Dean Martin Estate. Felix is currently a 33+ year Top Talent Actor at Universal Studios Orlando, impersonating a variety of legendary movie celebrities and performing in its Shows. He has been with Universal since its 1990 opening. Under his production company, FJDJR Productions, LLC, Felix also headlines as Dean Martin in his live show productions, Back to the Dean Martin Show – A Tribute to Dino!™; Rat Pack Universe ™ ; Martin & Monroe; Dino & Darin; Frank & Dean; and The Concert of Kings – A Tribute to Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, & Bobby Darin.
