David Bradley Jazz Swing Singer

Description

I sing most of the Rat pack standards, and do a mix of the uptempo swing numbers suitable for dancing along with the slower ballads. A number of my tracks have been adjusted to Ballroom dancing tempo.

Biography

My love of Jazz Swing and Rat Pack re-emerged through ballroom dancing and I began to organise, host and provide the vocals at dances. Gradually through word of mouth I began performing at a wide variety of functions including weddings, balls and celebratory dinners. In 2008 I joined the fantastic ‘New Lights (Jazz Swing) Big Band’ and perform with the band at some of their major gigs around the North West. I also perform as a guest singer with a number of other Big Bands, Small bands and Quartets.
Influenced by the Big Band and Rat Pack sound and talented stars such as Frank Sinatra, ... Matt Monro, Bobby Darin and more recently Robbie Williams and Michael Buble, I perform in my own swinging style. Experience

I've had 10 years experience as a solo singer and 8 years as a Big Band singer. I've performed at some major venues in the North West of England including Blackpol Tower ballroom, Stockport Plaza Theatre and many hotels and other venues. I've perfomed to audiences from just a few people to 1500+.

Previous Clients

Mostly private weddings, Masonic Ladies Nights and milestone birthday parties, but also some charity dinners for the Christie Hospital, and corporate award ceremonies e.g. Building and Engineering awards. Boy Scout Founders annual Dinner.
