After years of pursuing their individual musical paths, which saw them developing on both local stages and various TV shows, a YouTube collaboration for a cover of Calum Scott and Leona Lewis's song 'You Are The Reason' brought them together. Since then, Daniel and Shanelle have been in ... separable, working closely together.
In 2022, they had the opportunity to audition for the national selection of San Marino for the Eurovision Song Contest in collaboration with a songwriting duo from the UK. They made it to the semi-finals and are now more motivated than ever to take their harmonies worldwide.

Biography

Daniel's musical journey began in a children's choir before moving on to private singing lessons with Ralph van Manen. He then went on to study music at the ArtEZ Pop Academy in Enschede and the Universal Voice Institute in Amsterdam. His vocal inspiration stems from the captivating voice of Celine Dion, while the songwriting abilities of Charlie Puth greatly influence his own work.
Shanelle, born in Hengelo, recently earned her Bachelor's degree in Vocals at the ArtEZ Pop Academy in Enschede. She finds her greatest inspiration in the legendary Whitney Houston.
The duo initially met thro ... ugh their shared passion for music, as Daniel was making weekly covers for his YouTube channel. They bonded over a soulful rendition of Calum Scott's "You Are The Reason" and continued to work together, forging a strong musical and personal connection.
Both Daniel and Shanelle have impressive accomplishments in the music industry. Daniel has reached the final round of the TV show "I Can See Your Voice," sung a duet with Gerard Joling, and was coached by singer Maan during the TVOH Ontbijtsessies. Shanelle, on the other hand, has been coached by Angela Groothuizen after passing the blind auditions of The Voice Kids and later making it to the Knockouts in The Voice of Holland.
