Music is simply my passion! My appreciation for the art & my instrument is beyond words! The fact that it is universally connecting is also what consumes me. All walks of life are able to congregate through rhythm, melody, harmony, and sometimes even silence.
I got my start playing in church born into a musically inclined family! I then was able to enhance my abilities through formal training, taking private lessons with some of the top performing jazz musicians in my city of Chicago. I have 5 years of experience in "Jazz Performance" via Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) Go ... Cougars!
I love working with other musicians and experiencing their many interpretations and expressions of the art form, regardless of genre, race, background, etc! Looking forward to meeting and performing with new people!
