Cristiana Achim is one of the most sought-after musicians of her generation. Her usual recitals explore the classical and jazz fusion genre. Often invited to play at festivals and private events, Cristiana has met and performed with great musicians throughout her childhood. As a complete artist, Cristiana has played jazz and piano café music for a prestigious restaurants in Bucharest, where she discovered and developed a new kind of expression through music. Biography
Born and raised in Bucharest, pianist and educator Cristiana Achim is one of the most sought-after musicians of her generation. Graduating the Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in 2022 from the Royal College of Music, London, Cristiana is currently pursuing her Master of Performance degree under the tutelage of Nigel Clayton at the Royal College of Music, where she is generously supported by numerous scholarships such as the C. Bechstein Scholarship, Help Musicians Postgraduate Awards and Talent Unlimited Music Charity.

... ony Orchestra Conservatoire Scholarship, which amply supports her further musical studies by offering performing opportunities and mentorship throughout the 2023-2024 concert season.
A winner of numerous international music competitions, Cristiana was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Royal Overseas League Music Competition and the 3rd prize winner in the ‘Norah Sande Awards 2022’ (UK). She also won the Special Prize ‘Debut in Transylvania’ at the ‘Youth of Music 2021 International Competition’ (Romania) with a Recital Award.
Cristiana performed in prestigious UK venues like Queen Elizabeth Hall, St James’s Piccadilly and Drapers Hall. Upcoming engagements include a suite of solo and chamber music recitals throughout England, Scotland and Romania for the 2023-2024 season. As a highly gifted pianist, at the age of 15, Cristiana became a resident artist with the Romanian Royal House and has been invited to play with the Royal Camerata Orchestra (Romania) and Trinity Orchestra (UK), performing concertos by Clara Schumann, Saint-Saëns or Dinu Lipatti.
She has developed a keen interest in jazz and folk music and is well-versed in improvisation. In 2019, she released three of her singles, which are based on Romanian folk tunes: “Little Cloud Passing by”, “Cristina”, and “S.H.E”.
Cristiana is a passionate advocate for education. She has collaborated with Romanian and British institutions, which offered her many opportunities to develop the Romanian educational system by teaching music to disadvantaged children through interactive workshops. As a Benedetti Foundation Music Ambassador, she has developed creative education projects, working alongside violinist Nicola Benedetti and her collaborators in 2021-2022.

Gained scholarships at the Royal College of Music from London, Royal Northern College of Manchester and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018.
Performed as a soloist with the Royal Cammerata at the Romanian Atheneum, under the button of Sabin Pautza in 2016 and 2018.
Played in various chambers music ensembles with musicians such as: Frans Helmerson, Mihaela Martin, Razvan Popovici, Diana Ketler.
