Experience

After winning 2 back to back talent shows in high school, Corey went on to work in St. Louis for KPLR Channel 11’s group called Team 11. The group was reminiscent of the Mickey Mouse Club. There were 400 people who came out to audition for the team. Team 11 performed for a presidential inauguration, and performed for many other events such as the Cardinals Winter Warm Up.
From there, Corey flew to Atlanta to work with producers on his debut recording project. Some of the collaborations there were with music industry veterans, and number one hit writers like Arnold Hennings and Patrick “ ... J.Que” Smith. Patrick was one of the writers for Usher’s biggest hit, “Yeah”.
In the early 2000's, Corey worked to create a name for himself back in his hometown in the STL, by fronting numerous cover bands that have performed at casinos, weddings, parties, etc. During this time he also was the runner up in the St. Louis Idol contest that was in connection with American Idol.
Corey was the Michael Jackson impersonator who closed the show nightly at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas during 2010 and in 2011. He was known for his live vocals and energetic dancing. From there, he went on to work for Legends in Concert, and was given opportunities to work as an impersonator again as Michael Jackson and also as Bruno Mars. He's performed for Legends in Concert in Hawaii, Canada, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Ohio, Atlantic City, and Branson, Missouri. Corey as an actor has worked in TV commercials, film and on Hawaii-5-0, and he has been in the entertainment industry now for 26 years.
