Solo saxophonist Lynden Blades plays live with specially commissioned backing tracks to create a dynamic live-band sound which is ideal as a backdrop to a drinks party or sit-down meal or to kick off your evening entertainment.
His solo sax set includes all the saxophone tracks you love to hear - from classic Stan Getz to Baker Street, The Peter Gunn Theme, Tequila, Just the Way You Are, Take Five, Walk on the Wild Side and more.
There are numerous advantages in choosing Lynden's sol ... o sax act for your event - he offers a compact and unobtrusive act which takes up a minimum of space, he creates a live-band atmosphere but with just the one musician there and he can play pretty much anywhere, inside or outside, and with or without a power supply.
Lynden has been playing sax professionally for well over 25 years and has performed at hundreds of private functions, weddings, corporate events and other parties all over the UK and abroad.
As well as performing as a solo artist, Lynden can also put together a duo, trio, quartet or larger band to suit your individual needs. He is also one half of the award-winning jazz duo Sax and Honey in which his wife sings.
He supplies all his own sound and lighting equipment and his fee for your event will include all travel time and expense, Public Liability Insurance, PAT certificates and recorded music for the breaks between his live sets.

I have been playing the sax for a very long time and it is my passion!

Experience

I'm a highly experienced saxophonist with more than 25 years playing professionally at high end weddings, corporate functions and private parties. I have played as a solo artist, with my own award winning duo Sax and Honey, with my jazz band of between 3 to 6 members depending on the client requirements as well as in other peoples funk and ska bands. I have worked as a session musician. I have been flown out to Italy, France, the USA and Hong Kong on gigs.
