Abracadabra Alex will entertainer your children with funny magical routines including ‘A Fun Magic Colouring Book’ ‘Coins From Anywhere’ ‘Balloon Animals’ Alex can help with the birthday cake singing happy birthday and at the end of the show Alex will make it snow for all the children. This is a truly entertaining magic show that will have your kids talking about it for years.

Just like a comedian would stand up and tell jokes, Comedy Magician Alex Lodge mixes comedy and magic together to entertain audience members. Alex will do funny magic routines, tell funny jokes and stories, and do magic tricks that involve audience members. This is a nice way to introduce Alex as the magician at the resort to the audience earlier in the week before doing a big box illusion show.

Biography

Comedy Magician Illusionist Alex Lodge was born into a show biz family with a magician for a grandfather teaching Alex magic and an uncle in the London’s Westend Musicals. Alex’s career in show business started at the young age of ten months old when Alex’s mother Wendy got him a baby modelling job in an advert. Although Alex had a good start in life Alex started to find school life hard and could not understand numbers and letters and after some tests Alex and his teachers discovered Alex suffers from dyslexic. Alex’s love for performing arts and magic started to take over his school ... work and Alex started reading more and more magic books that eventually helped Alex overcome his dyslexic and learned to read and write. Alex's magical career started at the age of five years old when his grandfather taught him a magic trick but it was really a trip to London's Toy Shop Hamley's that Alex got his first magic trick. After finishing school Alex went onto studied at Queen Mary’s Collage for performing arts and Alex got a job on the weekend working in the magic department in Hamley’s Toy Shop. Alex developed his own magic act and went onto compete in many magic competitions with his own magic act such as The Young Magician of the Year, International Brotherhood of Magicians and the British Magical Championships and became a multiple award winner and a member of The Magic Circle with a degree in magical arts ‘That’s a bit like Harry Potter passing at Hogwarts.’
Alex’s first professional seasonal contract was working at the House of Illusion in sunny Spain Salou doing two shows a night six nights a week for six months. Alex went on to tour the UK holiday parks with both his one man comedy magic show and double act illusion show and then went onto to headline in his own shows on some of the finest cruise liners in the world. Alex has stared in pantomimes alongside Hollyoaks actors and westend stars and now Alex has produced and directed his own magical theatre shows. Alex has now made numerous television appearances including BBC1 CBBC’s The Sources Apprentice, ITV's Britain's Got Talent and Sky Televisions Cruising with the Stars on the holiday and cruise channel. Alex is delighted to be working with the cast in his debut Hammond Pantomime and looks forward to appearing and disappearing in Pet Pan the pantomime and Alex says ‘Enjoy the show.’
