Description

I can sing solo with backing tracks or with live music as a duo or trio. I can sing with your own band or musicians if you prefer.
For private functions we can bring all necessary music equipment if required. I use a compact Bose system for vocals which is easy to transport and set up in a small space.
We sing covers, mainly jazz standards and pop classics. We can arrange a set to suit the occasion if required and will discuss with the client if they want specific songs included.
I can sing in French and a few Spanish and Brasilian Portuguese songs.

Experience

I have been singing professionally for about 10 years. Mostly at private parties, corporate events and in bars, restaurants and jazz clubs.
I started by running karaoke nights in local pubs and at weddings and functions.
I have sung at numerous weddings, parties and corporate events.
I am booked by several organisations for their AGMs and Christmas functions.
I perform regularly in a south London jazz piano bar.

Meet the Act

After learning to sing and perform, I started out by running a small business of themed karaoke nights. I wanted to bring a cabaret concept to karaoke to engage the crowd and involve them at another level.
I then progressed to singing at private events using backing tracks and found musicians to produce live music which I really love. I love to perform and entertain - and of course to sing!
I volunteered at a local cancer charity and started a singing group for clients and their relatives to help them with music as therapy.
I ran a weekly zoom music meetup through lock down where people c ... ould sing or play online as if they were in a music bar.
I like to engage and joke a little with a crowd. I have a friendly, fun and relaxed manner with them. I like people and they seem to like me as a performer. I often get great feedback on the day and people comment not just on the the timbre of my voice but also my delivery style, I have been told I have a lovely manner and great charisma.
