Possessing a wealth of experience in the fields of solo and ensemble performances, Claire has traveled and performed extensively internationally (including Southern Spain, France, Gibraltar, Canada, Germany, Canary Islands and Greece) and the United Kingdom. Claire also has extensive experience “behind the scenes” as a sound and lighting technician for a theatre in Spain and also producing and directing her own ensemble performances “It’s Showtime" songs from the West End to Broadway and producing her own stage show as a solo artiste.

Biography

Claire Harvey-East is an international, classically trained, operatic soprano who began singing and performing at the age of 5 years. She has continued her professional development over her lifetime, whilst living in the UK and overseas. Performing in Opera and Operettas Internationally (Southern Spain, Gibraltar, France, Germany, Cyprus, Greece and Canada) as well as performing her own Classical-Crossover show throughout the UK. She is also a sought after, professional funeral singer.
Throughout this time, Claire has maintained a fervour for charitable work (performing for various charitie ... s including Medicins Sans Frontiers in a series of recitals in Bordeaux and The Maria Hanson Foundation in the UK. As well as for the NHS, most recently in Chesterfield for their memorial walk in August 2020). She also has affiliation with the armed forces, performing at 'Proms in the Park' in West Bridgeford in 2015.
She has performed in a wide variety of settings, including (but not exclusively) Town Halls, Theatres, Hotels, Churches, Outdoor functions, Conference facilities, both as an invited performer and undertaking her own produced show.
