Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Chel is a 2025 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Music Technology. She is a versatile performer and vocalist, celebrated for her deeply resonant tone and dynamic performance style.
Rooted in the gospel traditions of her Jacksonville, Florida upbringing and shaped by her experience as a Division 1 college cheerleader, Chel’s artistry blends emotive storytelling with technical precision. Her dynamic style draws inspiration from energetic icons like Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, and Cher. By balancing confidence with vulnerability, Chel cra ... fts performances that captivate through authenticity, tailoring each experience to reflect music's personal and universal power.
Chel’s creative range extends beyond the stage, showcasing her ability to bridge art and technology. She co-founded a songwriting startup for music therapy incorporating CBT techniques, earning recognition on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 25 Under 25 list. Since 2021, she has served as the lead vocalist for MegaFly Band, performed with Georgia Tech Jazz Ensembles, and participated in the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra for two seasons.
With aspirations to challenge societal norms and inspire global audiences, Chel uses her voice and timeless style to redefine contemporary perceptions of strength, elegance, and identity as a Black woman in the music industry.
