Biography

I was born in Panama City, Panama but have spent most of my life in Schoharie, NY. I have a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from State University of New York at Oneonta and a master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Messiah University.  Among my vocal accomplishments, I won the Kennedy Center 2018 VSA International Young Soloist Award, have performed two summer seasons with Glimmerglass Festival Opera Company, and recently performed with Berkshire Choral International in Florence, Italy.

Acting Experience

I did two summer seasons with the Glimmerglass Opera Company. I was in the Chorus for Porgy and Bess and Showboat. I also have several community theater experience under my belt I was chorus member for those shows as well. During my final year in high school I was given a lead role in a show called Curtains.

Meet the Act

I have always had a passion for music; I think it started during my childhood when I watched DVDs of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra on the TV. My parents got me a collection of some of their greatest performances, and I thought to myself, I want to do that when I go up. So, after high school, I went on to study music, vocal performance,and jazz in College. During my time in college, I played in a jazz ensemble, sang in the chorus and selected ensemble, and did gig work outside of my studies. I hold a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from the University of Suny Oneonta and a Master’s degr ... ee in Choral Conducting from Messiah University.
