PIANO BAR ENTERTAINERS, JIM'S STEAKHOUSE; PEORIA, IL — 2012–PRESENT
Ben & Kate perform and entertain weekly in the piano bar. The show starts by providing easy-listening background music to the dinner crowd and develops into a full, interactive piano bar show. Performance times ranges from 3 to 6 hours. Show includes encouraged sing-alongs, fruit and vegetable shakers so guests can join in and be the rhythm section, movie song guessing games, key-changing games, requests, and even the occasional guest singer.
MUSIC FOR WEDDINGS/PRIVATE PARTIES/FESTIVALS/EVENTS — AS REQUESTED
Ben & K ... ate have experience providing music for all parts of a wedding, including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. These events included in depth tailoring of music and learning new songs to match the client’s requests. Receptions have gone beyond just Ben & Kate as a duo and have included hiring and performing with a full band, as well as providing DJ services for the dance party.
Other experience includes Christmas parties, pool side parties, block parties, house parties, and jazz festivals and shows.
BANDS — 2009-PRESENT
Ben has been using his talents to play keyboards for a variety of bands since 2009. His experience ranges from blues bands to rock bands, and even includes an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band and a country band. Ben also provides rhythm guitar and harmony vocals. Kate has experience playing keyboards and providing lead and harmony vocals for party rock bands.

Welcome friends! My name is Kate Gibson. I am so excited that you are here. I have always said that nearly all of us are born with a singing voice… some of us just don’t know it yet. If you are interested in finding your singing voice – the one that belongs to only you – you have come to the right place.

I have been working as a professional singer for the last 12 years. During this time, I have learned so much from instructors and performance experience. I am a certified Vocal Training Instructor through the Sing With Power Voice Teacher Training Program, have a Bachelor’s degree in Music, and have worked extensively with various vocal training methods and styles. I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to help you find your authentic voice.
