Description

Fabulously funny, original comedy songs from Bon Jovi to Coldplay to U2. Stand up story telling in between songs whilst dressed to kill in faux fur and leopard skin tight pance. A high energy but engaging performance with show times from 20 minutes - 1 hr 30 minutes.
Can also perform songs as full act ( 20 minutes - 50 minutes) or stand up comedy ( 25 mins).

Biography

Secure, happy, healthy, well traveled guy who has made a lot of money in the property business. Single father of 4 children for 28 years and that part of my life is now complete. Now is my time too perform and shine. Love sailing( have skippers license for yachts) and cruise ships and my life is now to combine my creativity with my love of the open sea. Always been a people person as the youngest of 11 children and a very strong, principled character, who is professional, reliable, flexible, very quick learner, super fit, charismatic and very confident. Always bring tons of energy, enthusiasm ... and maturity whilst maintaining a sense of fun, all drawn from a very colourful life that’s been led to the fullest.
Act: comedy parodies of very popular songs all based on sexual problems/ personal experiences / relationships whilst ad libbing in between about my difficulties in finding a relationship. All as a deluded, past his best, middle aged man who, ‘writes the songs that make the whole world cringe’.

Very , very funny guy. You think he’s a drag act but totally surprises you. Great songs, great comedy tales , so many accents and was brilliant afterwards with everybody. Didn’t rush off despite the fact he had to drive home- someone told me they saw him the next morning still in his white fur coat locally. Really top guy

Barry was one of the main acts but I felt he was only getting warmed up- think he did about half an hour. Punch line after punch line, whether it was his brilliant parody songs or his very raw ( you cannot believe the tales about his Irish mother) adult stand up in between songs. Faultless and you could tell we all felt (300-400) that we had seen a top end show at a local venue. Big character who puts on a big performance. Its a lot about sex but it’s alot about life as well and a guy who has led a colourful life.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be one of the first too book ‘ Barry’ having previously seen his comedy play ‘ Bi to Let’. I love original comedy and it goes without saying it knocked our socks off. He creates great energy, engages very lightheartedly with the audience whilst reading the room to keep the whole performance moving. It was my birthday party and although there was a vast range of ages in the room, all were throughly entertained due to the eclectic taste in music and his stories, where you really feel he is opening up his soul and sharing his life experiences. Great night and thank you

Many years of stage performance and amateur theatre has led to my solo career of singing and performing comedy in my latest alter ego, Barry Saniflow. From local theatres to outdoor festivals, as well as private parties who are looking for a very original, adult act.

Meet the Act

Such a colourful life but this chapter of my life started approximately 3 years ago when all my children left home. I had made lots of money in the property business so I had to ask myself what I was going to do for the next 40 years.
