Since I began performing as a Rod Stewart impersonator I have been blessed by having the most talented musicians as my accompaniment. The variety and quality of Sir Rod Stewart's catalog had the effect of drawing the best musical talents to my benefit.
In addition the wonderful material and the affection bestowed on Rod by fans. has also brought me the best audiences any performer could wish for. I've performed in grand halls at casinos, at outdoor festivals, in the homes of celebrities and in simple homes of adoring fans, At all of these performances I was greeted with warmth and kindnes ... s. Meet the Act

I found out I could sing like Rod Stewart when I rented a private karaoke booth in Japan to entertain myself on a business trip during down time. I was just going down the song list alphabetically since during daytime hours the fee was nominal and staying in my room watching TV was useless( I had a very limited Japanese fluency).
When I got to Janis Joplin I said what the heck it's all for my amusement. As I started singing what I heard was Rod instead. I was in my thirties and I had never sang publicly since I was in high school choir. Instead in my twenties I had dabbled in band managem ... ent with some up and coming artists. I continued my ban of public exposure until I was fifty . My wife dared me to go as Rod at a Halloween contest where there was karaoke. I'd been rehearsing for an audience of one for years, and I had the nose. Despite my stage shyness I dyed my hair and took the leap . I didn't win the costume contest. however the restaurateur insisted i get another turn at the mic, over and over again, after he saw the audience response. Afterwards I had my first gig and no band. Thanks to the material and my music connections from my youth, I cobbled together an amazing line-up, and as they say the rest is history. At 65 I've been singing professionally for 13 years and living proof that you can be anything at any age.
