Over the past few years we’ve enjoyed establishing ourselves as Scotland's leading young professional string group specialising in performing pop covers at weddings & events. Our players are graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and young professional freelancers who are highly in demand across the UK.
We provide live music for all occasions including weddings, corporate or private functions, receptions, parties, ceremonies, concerts, recordings, gigs, tours, festivals and more. Our members have been featured in a Bank of Scotland advert, played live to 40 million listeners on ... BBC World Radio and have worked with musicians and bands including Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones, Rod Stewart, Kayne West, Alfie Boe, Belle & Sebastian, Ben Folds, Donnie Munro, Dougie Maclean, Eddi Reader, Mary Carpenter, Nick Howard, Frightened Rabbit, Admiral Fallow, King Creosote, Mogwai, Ronan Keating & Foy Vance.
Our recent highlights include performing at the Davis Cup Dinner, beside a Boeing 747 for a British Airways first class lounge opening, playing at the Commonwealth Games and playing live to 40 million listeners on BBC World Radio (Champions League). Our other corporate clients include Boots, Coast, Jenners, The Scotsman, Glasgow University, Edinburgh University, Glasgow City Council, The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, The Scottish Arbitration Centre, Ayr Races, Lord Provost amongst others. We’ve also had the pleasure of performing worldwide including in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Malta Norway & Mauritius.
Collectively our wealth of experience features performing with various orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, The Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, Northern Sinfonia, Northern Ballet, London Symphony Orchestra & Southbank Sinfonia.
