I've been playing, singing and entertaining for over 20 years. What I am is a result of all the skills I have picked up along the way. I play rhythm guitar and bass. I'm also a 'front man' or entertainer in that I work with crowds and help bring them in to whatever show I'm doing.
I can perform in various contexts with comfort and professionalism:
Playing background music using loops and guitar. Suitable for an evening lounge, during dinner or anywhere where live background music is desireable.
'Troubadour' or pub guitarist. I can entertainer for up to 3 hours per night, every night w ... ith over six hours of material to choose from. This can be traditional guitar and vocals' , with looping or, incorporating some or all of the parts of the amazing backing tracks I use. I have successfully performed multiple professional contracts in this capacity, references available.
I have two full length shows designed to be performed in a formal stage setting with a regular, front facing audience.
Guitar Classics! A show in which I showcase some of the finest lead guitarists of all time (Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Carlos Santana, Bryan Adams, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles etc.). To keep the show affordable, I play the rhythm or bass parts and use pre-recorded tracks for other parts. I can work with a lead guitarist (available on request) but, there is a significant price difference. Guitar Classics can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours long, with or without breaks, depending on the clients needs.
Swing and Big Band! This show includes many of the Jazz standards and big band classics designed for dancing too and to rekindle memories of an era when music was a little different. This show is heavily influenced by Michael Buble but also contains the work of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Elvis, Bobby Darin and more. Biography

Andy began his musical career at the age of 16 as bass player and front man to the Ska Punk and Reggae band 'Invisible Jim'. After the split of the group, he learned to play guitar and began building a repertoire of acoustic tracks as well as writing his own material.
A stint as cover Pub Guitarist on the Royal Caribbean ship Independence of the Seas led to the idea that this could be a profession. After the ship and throughout an undergraduate degree and PhD, ten years of amateur gigs followed; pub shows, University shows, occasional professional work through corporate events but, in sho ... rt, a variety of performances to stay sharp and work out how to be an entertainer as well as a musician. A focus on entertainment led to working with children in Italy. Andy was part of a small company that devised extra-curricular material, using music as stimuli, to enhance the English language learning experiences of Italian youngsters.
In the winter of 2015 Andy was hired to be a resident performer at Ciaran's, a successful restaurant on Palolem beach in South Goa. Here he played a variety of shows and began to build, rehearse and polish what he performs today.
In the summer of 2016, Andy played regular professional shows at the Hotel Los Gigantes, Tenerife. Here he performed twice a week, one acoustic guitar show and one night of 'The Swing and Big Band show'. After another successful winter at Ciaran's, for the summer of 2017 he was hired to perform a six month tour of Fuertaventura and Menorca in the pre-conceived duo 'Rock and Soul Revue' as well as in his own solo shows.
The winter of 2017 led to three successful month long contracts as resident singer guitarist on the P+O ship 'The Pride of Bruge’ and the DFDS ship 'Princess Seaways’. Here his repertoire developed to over 6 hours (250 songs).
Andy decided that the summer of 2018 should be spent repeating the summer tour of Rock and Soul in Menorca whilst further enhancing and developing his solo material and, is currently developing a covers show based on his own backing tracks. Both projects have been immensely successful so far.
In the summer of 2019, Andy was the driver, sound engineer and performer in Total Recall: a Twist on the 80s. This four person cabaret show was a huge success across the island of Mallorca. Read More

I have public liability insurance, a full and clean UK driving licence (as well as 4 years European driving experience free from any claims). I have my own vehicle. I have my own mixer and PA setup though it is designed for busking/small venue use. I can travel anywhere in the world. I am available immediately.
