Biography

With 7 years old, the guitar and the piano got his attention.
He directly started playing both while learning by himself watching videos online. A few years later, Andre began to participate in scholar musical contests where he got to win some first prizes.
Andre’s professional career started after he first competed for the talent show Idols and got the 3rd place. Consequently, he had the chance to perform 157 times throughout the European Tour called The Idolomania.
When Andre was not performing, he had the chance to present the Tv show “Ready to Wear” on channel SIC.
Was p ... art of a project with the big cellphone company Vodafone (Verizon) where he played the role of “Blue” while recording the voices of the Cartoon Band “T-Jays”.
A year later, Andre received one of the most important invitations of his life - Disney Channel. He had the opportunity to record several videoclips featuring Jonas Brothers and other Disney Channel’s stars.
By the age of 18 Andre began his studies in Journalism, finishing his degree 3 years later in the Catholic University of Portugal.
He continued studying in Budapest (Hungary), where he finished 2 years later with a Master in Psychology. During this period Andre performed in some of the European capitals as Zagreb, Paris, Bratislava, Warsaw, Vienna, among others.
After turning 21, he started producing his songs that he had been writing since he played the first notes on the guitar. Andre released independent songs that went 1st on the charts in Portugal and entered the Top25 in Spain and France.
Opened concerts for Jason Mraz and James Morrison in 2011 and 2012 during the live festivals Rock in Rio and Fatacil.
With 23 years old Andre keeps performing around the world where he has the opportunity to sing his original songs.
Every year he plays the character Jesus in the Broadway show Jesus Christ Superstar in Lisbon, Portugal.
Andre also performs often in London while singing for the Plaza Hotel Group, which counts with 10 different venues around the city.
