New York based singing pianist Alexandra Frederick is available for local and national events as a solo performer and with a duo. Alexandra is a fully self-contained act and if performing locally to the New York area, can provide vocal and keyboard equipment and backline. Playing regular piano fare, The Great American Song Book, other jazz standards, international songs and more unusual material, she will work closely with the client, and fulfill special requests, organize and implement sing-alongs and any other needs to make your event truly memorable and extraordinary.

• BIOGRAPHY:
British-American singing pianist ALEXANDRA FREDERICK performs weekly at legendary Manhattan piano bars THE TOWNHOUSE (Upper East Side) Monday night; DON'T TELL MAMA NYC (Theater District, since 2016) Wednesday Happy Hour; and most recently the famous DA MARINO RESTAURANT (featured in "Sex and the City") on Sundays. This December she has a week's residency at the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.
Alex lends her “lush vocals and Jazz-infused piano style” to American Songbook Standards, Swing, Broadway, Pop Rock, Brazilian Bossa Nova, French cabaret classics and Italian favorites.

A seasoned performer with over 20 years in the business, her roster of exclusive venues include: NYC PRIVATE CLUBS: Knickerbocker, Liederkranz, Lotos, River; HOTELS: Crossings Bar at Marriott Westchester, Lotte New York Palace, The Lowell, Garden Gables (Lenox, MA); and numerous private and public events.
As a young adult in England Alex played the Cambridge and London music circuits (her band won several awards and was featured on TV and radio) before leaving the UK to pursue Jazz studies in New York City. Since arriving in the US she has become established as a pianist with over 20 years’ experience in the Tri-State area. Alex is a TOP PERFORMER on Gigsalad and The Bash sites. She has also played in Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the Caribbean, and on the high seas for CRUISE LINES Carnival and Princess. She holds two music performance degrees: Classical Instrumental (Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK), and Jazz Vocal (The City College of New York.)
Versatile and engaging, Alex also sings in French, Italian, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
