Description

I am available to sing for any event: weddings, funerals, baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries etc.
The program can be requested in advance by the client and in other cases I can assemble a suitable program on my own. I perform with playbacks or with the accompaniment of a pianist or guitarist. Accompaniment should be determined in advance.

Biography

Israeli mezzo-soprano Salomé Paz is an award-winning young singer known for her expertise in Baroque ornamentation. Most recently, she has been featured in the 2020 and 2021 Zionessenz Concert Series in Zionskirche, Berlin. She has previously been heard as the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas with Ensemble Orquesta in London ,the Second Witch with Givatayim Theater, and Mere Jeanne in Les Dialogues des Carmelies at Balance Arts Opera Berlin.
Since the age of seventeen, Ms. Paz has been a member of Israel’s prestigious Moran Ensemble, with whom she has toured extensively as both soloist a ... nd chorister, including the Abu-Gosh festival, National Radio concerts, and many more both in Israel and abroad. She has appeared with the New Israeli Ensemble and has concertized throughout Germany. Prior to transitioning to mezzo-soprano, she sang the soprano solos in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung at Smolarz Hall in Tel Aviv.
During her education, Ms. Paz was frequently recognized for her talent and potential. As a student at the Buchman-Mehta school of music at the Tel Aviv University, Ms. Paz was featured as a soloist in two concerts for the prestigious Dan David award ceremony. She was awarded the Buchman-Hyman Foundation Scholarship for excellence in classical singing a total of five times. She also won scholarships from the Moran Foundation, the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, and the America - Israel Foundation.
Ms. Paz currently resides in Berlin, Germany. She is a student of Prof. Carlos Conde and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Buchman-Mehta Music School at Tel Aviv University, and a Master’s from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance
