Description

Rebels & Records are a group of highly skilled music professionals based in London, UK. We divide our time between live music performance, education, music tuition and solo projects.
We have several options for line ups, from 3 piece acoustic or electric to a full 5 piece band.
Our setup is minimal and can be customised to fit into any venue without compromising sound or performance.
We guarantee a high-energy performance backed by decades of experience. Audiences will be left craving more and you’ll be left with the assurance that by booking them, you made the right decision.

Arrival and set up (approximately 1 hour)
2 x 45 or 2 x 60 minutes of live music
Perform a live song for a first dance
Background music before, between & after our sets
High-quality PA system and lighting, suitable for audiences of up to 500 people
Other options are available upon request, such as additional musicians, additional sets and learning songs of your choice, but these may affect price estimates.
SPACE
Typically a performance area of 5mx3m is required, but a minimum area of 4mx3m is workable if space is limited.
INSURANCE
We always carry up-to-date PAT certification and have Public Liability Insurance (PLI) cover up to £5 million.
POWER
We usually request two double 13 amp supplies near to the stage area; this ensures lighting and audio equipment run from separate power sources, which reduces the risk of interference.
SOUND
We always make sure that volume levels are such that people at your event can still converse, but still feel as though they are "at a gig".
If your chosen venue has a dB limiter, please let us know at the time of your enquiry. If your venues dB limit is restrictively low, we can provide acoustic options that may be more suitable.

Our diverse musical background creates a unique blend of timeless Motown, catchy pop, driving rock and smooth jazz, backed by years of live performances and professional studio recording. Individually, we have secured airtime on national radio stations, received critical acclaim on industry websites and played in some of the world’s best venues, such as the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

I was sceptical at first about having a band play at our wedding but from the second my husband showed me the showreel for rebels and records I knew we had to have them play at our wedding! I was not disappointed! They were fantastic from start to finish. They set up seemlessly and were all extremely professional throughout the day. Then it came to the evening and wow! Their sets were fantastic. A great range of songs for everyone and a great sound. I had so many people comment how brilliant they were. They really made the evening of our wedding stand out and made it so special, accommodating us when we asked for a guest to sing our first dance song. Everything was executed perfectly, the only bad part was when it was time for them to stop! Thank you so much Rebels and Records, you made a brilliant day even more brilliant!

Rebels and records played at my close friend’s wedding in Bexhill in June 2017. They were brilliant! Great mix of music covering everything from The Jackson 5 to Ed Sheeran with a bit of Maroon 5 thrown in for good measure. There wasn’t a single song played that didn’t have the dance floor full, and the on-stage presence of both the lead singer and bass player kept everyone entertained. They were quick and discreet during set up and pack down meaning that the proceedings were never interrupted. The band themselves were friendly and seemed to enjoy the night just as much as everyone else in attendance. I can’t recommend them enough for your next event!

We booked Rebels & Records for our 40th party. They're nothing short of brilliant, not only are they great performers and singers they are really nice people. Who from the minute I met them put my mind at rest that they were exactly what I had expected. I looked through so many band profiles and you tube videos, the minute I saw Rebel and Records video profile I stopped looking. Looking forward to finding another reason to book them again!
